The Long Version:
We’re a small, rapidly growing agency looking for an experienced QA contractor with a user experience / web design focus for an ongoing engagement. Projects will entail reviewing content, design, functionality, performance, and cross-browser / -device compatibility on client websites in development, culminating in the delivery of detailed notes for the development team.
Coming to the table with 3 – 5+ years of experience in QA and extensive familiarity with web design best practices will be necessary for success. While we’ll be available for collaboration and fielding questions, you will largely be expected to define and execute the QA process autonomously.
We launch roughly two websites per month, so in an ideal world you’ll become an extension of our team and we can scale up our relationship over time.

What we’re looking for:
• ~3 – 5 years of experience with web development
• Fluency in HTML, CSS, SASS, PHP and Git
• Some Javascript and/or jQuery experience
• Proficient in WordPress
• Proactive, problem-solving nature
• Ability to work autonomously

What to expect
You are welcome to work remotely or out of our beautiful office in inner SE Portland. It’s a huge open loft space with tons of light and super friendly folks. No cubicles here!
Hours are flexible, but we will rely on you to be communicative about your availability, project / task estimates and realistic deadlines for your work.
Compensation depends on your experience, but it’s an open conversation.
